BIKE NIGHT - APRIL 7 2026 - 6:00pm-9:00pm
East End Brewing
147 Julius St, Pittsburgh PA 15206Come
Come meet some new friends, hang out with old friends, and learn about some bike things going on around the city that could use some attention. Maybe make some donations and possibly even win a raffle!
Here’s some folks we’re highlighting at this event:
Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club (PMTCC)
PTMCC does a lot of great things in the city and you can learn more about them on Tuesday. The Pittsburgh Major Taylor Cycling Club’s Major Force Youth Cycling Program (MFYCP) empowers Pittsburgh youth through learning the skills of cycling safely on Pittsburgh’s city streets and bike trails and benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The 10-week program ends with each participating youth receiving the bike that they have trained with as a reward. You can help out with donations here: https://pmtcc.org/donate/
PTMCC also hosts an absolutely fantastic fundraiser ride, the McDermott 3-State Tour. This is a bicycle tour starting in Southwest Pennsylvania and heads west, entering into the states of West Virginia and Ohio. 62 and 100 mile routes are available and this is seriously one of the best bike events in the area every year. East End Brewing Pedal Pale Ale Keg Ride
As we have for almost twenty years, we’ll be riding on bikes, en masse, to a secret location, with fresh kegs of this year’s batch of Pedal Pale Ale in tow, and capping off the ride with a fresh, cold pint! This is our way of kicking off Pittsburgh’s spring biking season, and the best part of all? It’s all in the name of raising funds for a good cause!
This year, all proceeds are raised to benefit Casa San Jose, our good cause for 2026. CSJ was our beneficiary last year and we’d love to raise some funds for them again! Casa San Jose serves as the trustworthy, go-to source of support to help under-served Latino immigrants access the assistance and services they need and is based in the South Hills. They are also the awarded the “Best Social Justice Organization” in the CityPaper’s “Best of PGH” 2025 awards for their work in defending rights and providing comprehensive support to the community.
Tickets are $30 each. Registration and more information is available here.
(p.s. East End is hosting us for this event, so show them a little love)
The Thick Bikes BikeMS Team
Thick Bikes has fielded a BikeMS Team in the annual BikeMS: Escape to the Lake event for an absurd number of years now. You can ride with them, volunteer for the event, or donate to individuals trying to make their fundraising minimums!
BikeMS: Escape to the Lake is a two day event with three route options on the first day (35, 70, 100 miles) and a super pleasant 68 mile second day. There is a $300 fundraising minimum which all of our riders are all working to meet right now through collecting donations (please take the hint!)

POGOH is rolling out some new membership options (including day passes!) and always welcomes donations to support their mission to provide Pittsburgh with a joyful, sustainable, and affordable mobility service for all residents and visitors.
